Outreach at Hanna Park 13 July 2024

We had a great night ever though we did not have a large turnout from the public. A few were able to pick out Mercury before she dropped below the horizon.  The Moon was the main topic.  We had a few with binoculars set up, some reflectors and a few SCTs also set up.  The skies were questionable but we did have lots of questions answered and about 930 the skies opened up and Dave W took the opportunity to do his famous sky tour.  I was surprised that we still had about 30-40 people still around.  I am sharing this to help keep this forum viable and to say to those who did not attend we did miss your smiling faces and fellowship.  Think about joining us next month.
