NEFAS Members,

Today is an exciting day for our organization. As many of you are aware, we recently partnered with the University of Florida to collaborate on a new logo design for NEFAS to give us a fresh look and solidify our brand identity. This logo has been shared in a few General Meetings and went live on our website and social media pages last week. While it admittedly took us a bit longer to prepare than expected, today we are excited to be launching the new merchandise store where you can purchase items that feature this new logo.

So, without delaying further, here is the link to our storefront. You will note that we have a hat, tumbler, and tote bag in the initial launch, as well as two different t-shirts and two different polos. We have two each of those so you are free to choose what style shirt you want; for t-shirts, there's a soft blend shirt and a dri fit-style polyester shirt, and for polos there's a 100% cotton and a blend option. Each item has multiple color options consistent with our branding, so you are free to choose items that fit your style best.

Can someone please fix/change my name in the registar? Somehow it's shows as "John (Tom)" It's Tom, no John.

I whould have sent the Member Director directly, but I haven't seenn any names form the past election posted in our newsletter.

March 14 Lunar Eclipse

How did your eclipse-viewing go? Share your photos!

I had Seestar issues...it didn't want to find the moon. Leveling, compass calibration, and rebooting didn't work (apparently other people had the same problem) and by the time I found it manually and was able to start imaging, it was nearing total.

2024 Holiday Party

The annual Holiday Party has been set in stone. It will be at the La Napolera on Hendricks at 7pm. The reservation will be under the name of NEFAS. There will be a charge of $5 per person to enter plus your meal charges.

Winners of the photo/sketch competition will be announced after everyone has had a chance to eat.

If you have not entered your submission, you have until the 30th of Nov. All entries need to be sent to treasurer@nefas.org.
